The Morehead Writing Project will host its eighth annual Writing Eastern Kentucky Conference from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5, in Breckinridge Hall on the campus of Morehead State University.
Registration is $50 in advance and $60 on the day of the conference. Registration fee does not include lunch. Education participants will receive six hours of professional development credit. Register online.
The conference is targeted to meet the needs of both creative writers as well as teachers of academic writing. Creative writing sessions on poetry, fiction, and nonfiction writing will be available. For educators, the conference features sessions that address the needs of Primary, Secondary, and Post-secondary students.
