Tiffany Elam, Lindsay Johnson, and Megan Thurman were selected to serve the Morehead Writing Project as its 2015 Kentucky Writing Project Professional Development Team.
KWP has organized several PD Teams to work with schools around the Commonwealth. This select group of educators will prepare targeted professional development programs to serve the unique needs of Kentucky schools.
Elam teaches at McBrayer Elementary School in Rowan County, Johnson teaches English at Rowan County High School, and Thurman teaches English at Lewis County Middle School. Elam and Johnson were both 2014 Returning Fellows for the MWP Invitational Summer Institute and serve on the MWP Leadership Team.
