Kelley and Lootens help coordinate Celebrating WEKY

Tia Kelley and Charli Lootens worked with Morehead Writing Project Director Deanna Mascle to organize the Morehead Writing Project’s 2014 Celebrating Writing Eastern Kentucky in conjunction with the National Day On Writing sponsored by National Writing Project and National Council of Teachers of English.

The 2014 Celebrating Writing Eastern Kentucky Event Coordinators planned the event with Mascle, designed posters, worked with campus and community partners, and interacted via social media to promote the three rounds of activities which ran from Oct. 16 through Nov. 8.

Kelley is a majoring in Strategic Communication and plans to graduate in May 2015. Lootens is an English major with plans to graduate in May 2016.
