The Morehead Writing Project is hard at work for its fourth year adjudicating the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards. Scholastic Coordinator Michelle Martin has assembled a team of 10 regional teachers and Morehead State students to read and score student writing as part of our partnership with the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards.
The partnership helps MWP earn revenue as well as offer value to English majors in need of experience working with writers, so it is a win-win, according to Site Director Dr. Deanna Mascle.
Martin is a teacher-leader with the Morehead Writing Project and teaches at Tilden Hogge Elementary School in the Rowan County School District.
