Small Poems: Great Writers is open to all writers of all ages in our Morehead Writing Project community. We hope Morehead WP teachers will involve their students of all ages and we hope our adult writers from preservice to retired teachers and those who just love to write will join us too. You have the opportunity to participate as an individual writer or a writing group leader as well as support our editorial team as we hopefully create an anthology of the small poems that come out of this writing. But this week we are simply celebrating ourselves through freewriting about the sounds, songs, and silences that shape our stories. We are in the Create and Celebrate section of the marathon (Feb. 21-March 11) and writers are still welcome to join our community.
