Megan Lewis, who served as undergraduate research fellow for the Morehead Writing Project during the 2011-2012 academic year, was recently hired by Walton-Verona High School to serve as a computer and reading lab instructor.
Lewis completed her student teaching experience at Dixie Heights High School in Kenton County during the Fall 2012 semester and will graduate from Morehead State University Dec. 15 with a degree in English education.
During her work with the Morehead Writing Project, Lewis led a session at the Teen Writers Conference and provided support for the Writing Eastern Kentucky Conference. She also researched writing self-efficacy under the direction of Dr. Deanna Mascle and presented her findings during the poster session at the Celebration of Student Scholarship.
