The Kentucky Writing Project is offering one of its 2012 Literacy and Technology Academies at Morehead State University on June 26-28. Additional academies will be offered at NKU, EKU, and UK as well as sites in Western Kentucky.
Not only will participants learn how to use technology to enhance student literacy they will receive 18 hours of professional development credit and an iPod Touch.
Teachers report they learn so much in these 3-day sessions AND take back ideas and strategies that enhance student learning and ease teacher management.
Full registration is $300 but a limited number of early registrants will pay just $200. There is also a bring-your-own-device option available for just $100 if you already own an iPod touch or iPad or equivalent device.
