With support from the National Writing Project, John Legend’s Show Me Campaign, the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation, and Collective Shift (lrng.org), the LRNG Innovators Challenge grant has allowed Bath County Middle School to host our first Why Learn? Summit for 6th through 8th graders! The event will take place from 12:30 to 3 p.m. on Dec. 11-13 so students have the opportunity to explore possible future careers and learn about the importance of soft skills such as attendance, attitude, and perseverance in those fields.
