Two important dates for Morehead Writing Project fall programming have been set!
The Fall Retreat is set for Saturday, Aug. 16, with more details about cost, location, and speakers to follow. Retreat Coordinator Lindsay Johnson is planning this event.
The Writing Eastern Kentucky Conference is set for Saturday, Nov. 8, with more details about cost, location, and featured speakers to follow. In-service and Outreach Co-Directors Jared Salyers and Tim Reding are planning this event.
Both events will offer six hours of professional development credit and are open to the general public as well as Morehead Writing Project Fellows.
The date for the Fall Teen Writers Day Out has not yet been set but Teen Writer Coordinator Leslie Workman is working on those plans and will announce details soon.
In addition, Rowan and Bath counties will work on implementing a stratified Writing Studio program for elementary, middle, and high school writers under the guidance of Studio Coordinator Tiffany Elam. More details will be forthcoming about this program as well.
